Online Resources

Jaipuria Institute of Management is providing access to more than 32,000 high quality, peer-reviewed journals, databases, and articles. Besides, E-books are also on offer on different subject areas like management and allied subjects. Students and faculty can access these resources from inside and outside of the campuses.

J-Gate (Social & Management Sciences)

J-Gate is an electronic gateway to global e-journal literature. Launched in 2001 by Informatics India Limited, J-Gate provides seamless access to millions of journal articles available online offered by 9507 Publishers. It presently has a massive database of journal literature, indexed from 29590 e-journals with links to full text at publisher sites. J-Gate also plans to support online subscription to journals, electronic document delivery, archiving and other related services.


EBSCOhost databases and discovery technologies are the most-used, premium online information resources for tens of thousands of institutions worldwide, representing millions of end-users. It includes Business Source Complete, Regional Business News, Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts, GreenFILE, Teacher Reference Center, Newspaper Source Plus, Entrepreneurial Studies Source and Web News.

Business Source Complete exceeds all other databases available in terms of its premium content of peer-reviewed, business related journals. Included as part of the comprehensive coverage offered byBusiness Source Complete are indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals, dating back as far as 1886. In addition, searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,300 journals.


DELNET has been actively engaged with the compilation of various Union Catalogues of the resources available in member-libraries. It has already created the Union Catalogue of Books, Union List of Current Periodicals, Union Catalogue of Periodicals, CD-ROM Database, Database of Indian Specialists, Database of Periodical Articles, Union List of Video Recordings, Urdu Manuscripts' Database, Database of Theses and Dissertations, DEVINSA Database, sample databases of language publications using GIST technology and several other databases. The data is being updated in each of these databases and is growing rapidly. All theDELNET databases have been resident on DELSIS, an in-house software developed on BASISPlus, an RDBMS, the product of Information Dimensions Inc. of USA which has been provided to DELNET courtesy National Informatics Centre, New Delhi.

DELNET provides an array of facilities including E-mail to its member-libraries including both institutional and associate institutional members. DELNET'S relentless efforts in resource sharing have proved extremely effective. It has indeed been a big leap towards the modernisation of libraries in India.

CMIE- Prowess Database

Prowess is a database of the financial performance of Indian companies. Annual Reports of individual companies is the principal source of this database. The database covers listed and unlisted companies. For listed companies, the database includes data sourced from the stock exchanges.

Prowess contains time-series data from 1989-90. It is updated continuously.

Prowess database is accessed by subscribers through a specially developed software. It presents several well-formatted analytical tabulations that include ratio analysis, funds-flow analysis, benchmark and peer comparisons. The software enables querying the database and it incorporates a charting toolkit.

Mv Xenius

ISI Emerging Markets

Internet Securities, Inc. (trading as ISI Emerging Markets), was founded in 1994 and acquired by Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC in 1999. It delivers hard-to-get information on more than 80 emerging markets through its award-winning online Emerging Markets Information Service. It aggregates and produces unique content including full-text news articles, financial statements, company information, industry analyses, equity quotes, macroeconomic statistics, and market-specific information, which are derived directly from more than 20,000 local and global publications.


Ebrary is an online digital library of full texts of over 70,000 scholarly e-books. It is available at many academic libraries and provides a set of online database collections that combine scholarly books from over 435 academic, trade, and professional publishers. It also includes sheet music (9,000 titles) and government documents. Additionally, ebrary offers content services—DASH! (do-it-yourself), software as a service (SaaS) and licensed—for customers to cost-effectively distribute their own PDF content online.

Questia Online Library

The Questia library contains books and journal articles on subjects such as history, philosophy, economics, political science, English and literature, anthropology, psychology, and sociology. It also includes magazine and newspaper articles.

ETIG (Economic Times Intelligence Group)

ET Intelligence Group (ETIG), the research arm of The Economic Times, India’s largest business paper, and part of The Times Group, India’s largest media group. eLibrary (International Monetary Fund)
